The Nuremberg Toy Fair of 2023 took place during the first week of February, and The BrandTrends Group took part! In case you were unable to participate, let us fill you in on what went on during the presentations.
The second presentation led by Philippe Guinaudeau discussed various innovative topics revolving around the world of Web3; this includes the Metaverse and NFTs.
To begin with, the table above shows how many kids between the ages of 10 and 14 have ever tried a virtual reality experience (within USA, Germany, and China).
It is worth noting that virtual reality is not just for gaming, in fact there are numerous other ways that it can be utilised.
As displayed above, kid aged 10 to 14 stated they have used VR for other activities such as watching videos/movies, exploring environments, learning something, connecting with friends, buying digital products, attending virtual events, and purchasing NFTs.
To add, teenagers are eager to utilise the Metaverse, especially in China, with 39% of respondents claiming they have heard of the Metaverse and look forward to using it more.
The Metaverse has the potential to offer businesses a wide range of benefits as listed above. It is a risk worth taking.
